Bolero SD Card Question

Featured Replies

Hi,

When I'm listing to a live concert from the SD card in the Bolero unit, when it advances to the next track, is seams to skip a couple of miliseconds from the start of the track.

Same goes for any music on SD card really, but it's more noticable on a live concert as it should be continuous..

I've tried diffrent SD card classes and makes but found no real improvment.

Any ideas?

Dealer says it's running the latest firmware.

Cheers

Lee

Its a break in the track thats all

Maybe not Chris as I've previously noticed this. I'm not too sure if it was with the original firmware or the new one though. Will need to check later.

I dont think the Bolero or Columbus for that matter fully support Gapless playback, so there will always be a millisecond or so pause as it loads and starts to play the next track.

Hi,

Sorry - let me just re-phrase what I mean...

I'm not talking about the gap - what I mean is that it'll cut / skip / jump (whatever you want to call it) a couple of milliseconds off the start of the actual track!

I've noticed that, but only with certain albums. It might be that it's doing it with everything, but it's only noticeable on some.

Glad it's not just me / mine then!

It fades in and out the start and end of tracks for some odd reason.

yeah mine does it on all tracks - a half to one second chop from the start of each track. i can handle the gaps but not the small chopping! has a solution been found for this?
