Never really been into games but finally got round to repairing my thrustmaster (its a steering wheel joystick thing btw:D) and a 9800pro graphics card for my PC.

Have tried the demo for GTR, and i like it.

Have tried Live For Speed demo, and done some online racing with some brazilians, which i found hilarious! I was truly laughing out loud!

So, which to buy?

I understand LFS has a big 'community' and costs

Have you tried Grand Prix Legends lately? Came out in 1998, but has been modded and revamped up to modern graphical/audio standards, now looks, sounds and plays great. It's a toughy tho....

GT4 is sweet, just passed my B licence and won the sunday cup

When & where did you buy your GT4 ?

As any retailers that sold it yesterday 8/3 are going to be heavily fined, as it should not have gone on sale till today. :eek:

I believe some tesco's were selling GT4 early, but as i only own a PS1 and original GT game i don't care!

I have got GPL (on sold out software label) and i dont think i've tried it on my latest PC. Will do that first, and search the web for the updates etc.

Still rock hard though don't you think?!?! I re-installed it last week, found a few excellent add-on tracks to learn (Isle of Man, Dundrod TT, Clermont-Ferrand) www.racesimcentral.com forum section is the place to go for updates/ news, http://trackdb.d2g.com/ is where all GPL tracks ever created can be found, excellent site...

Same here, I tend to be looking at where I've just been after vain attempts to brake for corners, the tail usually gets around the corner before the front does...

Just got my copy of GTR today..............WOW!

it's just as well I'm not working this weekend - GT4 and GTR in one week - don't spose I'll being see much of the outdoors this weekend

Likewise, although been distracted so only got to go backwards for 30 mins so far.
