No I didn't remove the headlights.

I can assure you they move! Push one side towards the front of the car, this flexs taking the clip clear of the metal, then push down to free it completely.

I like what you've done so far. Very neat :-)

Excellent. Will be looking forward to seeing them :-)

That is a very unusual spec car you've got there!

Few updates,

This all arrived:

All fitted. Reserving the new rear badge until I machine polish though!

Found out my rear doors leak also. I've sealed them up, and leaving the door cards off for a week whilst I monitor how successful the seals are. Debadged the rear.

Also, just had my my front grill, number plate surround, door handles and interior grill surrounds back from the sprayers. Few phone pics:

AP Coilovers and bushes are on order. I'll get up proper pics when this is all installed.

Where did you get the new vrs badge for the rear, and how much if you dont mind me asking? Ive been on the look out for ages now, trying to avoid dealer prices.

Car looks great btw!!

It's for the front grill, not rear. Got it from skoda, didn't check how much is cost as an individual item!

Love the headlights. Would like something like this for my Xenons. What bulbs etc did you use.

I think all the bulbs used are linked on page 3 of this thread :)

Few tiny updates.

AP coil overs have finally arrived. I was given the wrong set first time round, and am also still waiting on my wiper blank and wishbone bushes. Venom faffed it right up!

I've started prepping the car for winter, wash clay and wax went down today, will do the wheels next week.

I've applied a second coating of sealant on the rear doors, the wet weather recently has made mince meat of my first attempt at sealing them! Starting to forget what my rear door cards look like :wonder:

The main reason for update however is that my seats are now for sale. have a look if you're interested:

Did you remove the while vents for painting? How and what did you paint them with?

Aye removed them and sent them off to the sprayers along with my handles plate holder and grill!

No way I was tackling them DIY style, I've got to look at them everyday, so if they weren't perfect I'd be pulling my hair out

Looking good

sent from my dribble bus using ketchup !

You after an OEM sat nav?

Random but what are the lazyboy indicators?

Convenience Indicators is their actual name I believe. They enable you to pull down the stalk halfway (without clicking) and they'll flash 3 times.
