How did you do that? I didn't think it was possible to remove them.

It was one of the first things I did, removed weather too as I use METOF app :D

You CAN turn the widgets off without jail breaking :)

VERY easily done :)

Settings

Notifications

Find the widget eg Stock Widget or Weather and then slide the bar 'notification bar' off...
