FAB Vrs v OCT vRS

Featured Replies

...i have a vid of my octy doing 60-170 in similar time

Ummm...The Noble M12 GTO 3R 0-150 is 28.2secs, so taking into account your 0-60 in 6 seconds & 60-170 in 15 seconds that means you can do 170 in 21 seconds???

lol now thats a bloody quick Octy

i did say similar not exact..... but yes it was quick (the accel timing was on 106 octane race fuel....)

I have a remapped furby vRS... has quite a bit of poke upto a ton... the in gear acceleration is awesome...but thats your lot! Basically max's out at 120... will go a bit faster, but takes an age to get there. No top end ime.

On the other hand, I have been in JBS's demo Octy vRS doing an indicated 160... and that thing pulled like a train the whole time! :D

No contest at the higher speeds imo.

Std Octy RS? Chipped Fabia RS? PAH!

My "SDI" would take either of them :haha:

Wind up or not I'm keeping well clear...I know when i'm beat :rubchin:

Unfortunately, you are not being suckered. My SDI is actually fairly brisk (as these things go), reckon the factory must have just put a good engine in it or maybe it was cunning running in routine ;)

Just in case you think you are being suckered re the Scooby thing, have a read.....
