Just taken delivery of a 2.0 TDi DSG Octavia Elegance in Flamenco Red with Ivory interior: LOVELY! Build quality superb, handling and ride (despite the Sports suspension and Low profile Dunlops) fantastic, Mid-range pull better than anything I've driven. All in all, WOW! Having read the threads concerning remapping and the alleged limitations of the DSG box, having talked to various engineers, I understand that, provided that you do not intend to tow, there should be no problem exceeding the 350 Nm, but I am going to investigate further once the car has done 1500Km. Current consumption at 484 Miles is an average 41 mpg, driven hard (it IS a company car), which, for a new Turbo-diesel, is excellent.
