Black magic Octy II VRS, anyone got pics with tinted headlights?

Featured Replies

I seen the pics on the for sale thread of a couple of Fabias with laminex on their headlights, looked very smart indeed, especially on the black one.

I was wondering how it would look on my Octy II VRS. I also like the look of the film that leaves the lights with a purple/blue/green kinda look, dunno the best way to describe it other than it looks like they've had oil smeared on them.

Any pics or a link to a pic would be great, thanks.

These are black interiors, but might give you an idea

Black interiors? I'd have thought you'd have gone for gold!

Many thanks, that looks great...it was those lights that gave me the idea, I saw them on ebay pictured off of the car and couldn't visualise them....

looks like my next wee mod is gonna be the lights :)

I've got the same ones as Brimma. Having a helluva job keeping the condensation out at the moment despite putting RTV sealant around the glass and two bags of silica gel at the back of each unit. Still look great though! ;)

^^ that looks the nuts. I wonder how it would work on a race blue car.

I still would like to get these, but I really can't justify the cost, and with the info about condensing up I may steer clear. :(

Maybe I have just been unlucky Lee, I dunno. One other little problem that I have noticed in closer inspection is that some areas of the black tinting on the inside have started to blister - presumably because the black has absorbed the heat of the bulb (and perhaps the combination of this with the Philips bulbs I use). Still think they look great though! :p

They do look good, but you have just convinced me, £150 saved, cheers dude.
