Which induction kits are any good?

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried the neuspeed p-flow kit. Its a little cheaper than the jabba kit.

Not a fan of having the filter behind the bumper.

Hi mate,

on a std mapped car I noticed a reduction in torque. didnt pull as hard with the CAI on, Unless you get the car mapped up and all the rest of the mods done then I personally would just get a good filter.

Ideally,

TIP

Full Turbo Back

CAI

custom Remap

There is arguments for and against the CAI, I like the sound and the fact it sucks in cold air and helps keep things cool. als with the maps I have I cant use the std box without putting a bigger pipe into it which I cant be bothered to do plus I think it would look out of place, hence why the pipe is painted black. I am going for a std look to the car as much as pos, even the interior is one day gonna look std with the R32 seats recovered the same as the std stuff.

edit,

cant remember if I said it but, unless you think you might go Big Turbo or the K04 upgrade then there is no reason to get the Carbonio, ABD and such ones as they are 3" so need a reducer to fit where the ebay ones are the same 2.75" diam of our MAF.

Just for info, I had an ebay one and it would not fit unless the horns were moved.

I've got that kit on mine. Sounds great and I did notice a difference in response. It is a good piece of kit and has the shield to deflect the hot air.

I dunno if I'd like a cai in the bumper either as I've had to ford monstrous puddles before and water locking my engine doesn't appeal.

Thank you might treat myself to one of these as an early Christmas present.
