Shark fin

Featured Replies

I have a little stubby Citreon aerial but the radio receiption is awful. i dont want a huge aerial, if i buy a OEM shark fin will it be a good reception compared to OEM setup?

and is it true the oem headunit has a signal booster in it as standard? if so, what signal booster does everyone use when fitting an aftermarket headunit?

No idea on whether the reception will be as good with the Shark fin, but yeah the Symphony has a build in booster. This is the booster I used, can't say I've noticed any drop in reception since I swapped from the standard headunit.

Thats the booster most peole use on an aftermarket stereo and seems to work fine. The shark fin aerials are ok if you have the booster and are in the countryside but crap in town and built up areas. This is why i removed mine and went back to the bee sting one.
