Suzuki ignis sport..should i get one?

Featured Replies

lets face it. if the guy has 2k then hes not going to get a tidy VRS hes guna end up with 1 thats a little rough round the edges with high mileage.

for 2k he will get a not so rough ignis sport.

its his choice end of the day (imo dont do it)

I'd have the Ignis, personally... very characterful car :)

I can't see the appeal of driving round in something that looks like a life size wood/plastic Brio car.... Each to themsleves I suppose, for the budget it will be an entertaining small hatch though.

Surely this is the type of view Skoda owners get cross/fed up with others having towards their cars?

Personally, I like hot Jap cars - even if it's not as fast I'd still rather have one as a fun car. To do longer distances in, I'd expect it would have to be the Fabia though. There was one at uni for a while (guessing he's graduated now) in black, lowered, with some white wheels and a few hints at rally pedigree - looked awesome!

I like the Ignis for the character as said, tidy little motor, bit more raw as a car to drive but it`s not really a comparison to the Fabia, especially inside, there is a million miles between the Fabia and the Ignis. Japanese cars of that price & era have a sea of cheap grey plastic which really puts me off tbh.

And this isn't a sea of cheap grey plastic?

This argument is just gay

No brainer.... They both maybe covered in grey plastic but the Ignis's fit and finish quality in comparison is laughable.

I`m not for a second making out the fabia has a real nice plush interior, but if you cant tell the difference between the two then i`m not going to try to explain.

Well, obviously there is a difference

Just they're both grey plastic slabs!

It's more the feel of the switch gear I think. I can cope with click cheap tonka toy feel in my dads L200 because it's a old agriculture 4x4 but not in my daily car. I reckon stock the Ignis would be more fun than the fabia though, just not particularly comfortable or quiet for long trips

Suzuki interiors up to the latest generation swifts were comoarable in terms of how they are bolted together, both rattle tho less bits fall off suzukis.... the cheap grey plastics are of slightly better quality in the fabia but then the ignis gets recaros which are way better than the fabia seats. Latest swift sport blows the fabia away in terms of quality tho tho its about the same price so not the budget bargain it once was. Personally after 3 fabia vrs non of which lasted too long and 1 suzuki which is now 5 years old i would say apart from straight line speed the cheap and chearful suzukis are a much better car and much cheaper to run out of warrenty i would recommend suzuki all day long.

neither do I, guess some people are weird... :p

The Fabia interior is way better in the pics above. Big difference. The Ignis reminds of my MK1 Vauxhall Agila which had a terrible dash, unless you were judging the quality on how well your Nans crutches could be stowed away on top of the dash...

All IMO
