exhaust upgrades...

I think what I put means no silencers in the system. Nil, zero - i.e. a mufflerectomy

Obviously on the VRS there is just a rear box as standard, so it would just mean replacing this with a bit of pipe.

If I was performing a mufflerectomy I would probably want to replace all the pipe back from the CAT with a 2.5" pipe and stainless steel and not just a small section of pipe (though that is obviously cheaper)

Does sound like a better idea, you know of any where in swindon that does this? the only place i can think of is bells in old town

I`m not sure what size the above ones are, but mine are a bit more "filling" of the cut out.

I didnt realise there was only the one silencer and that was the rear box.

Had mine done today and OMG it sound awesome, best thing ive had done to this car by date, Very Very happy. There is a light burble on tick over and up to 3k, 3k over there is a light roar. No droaning anywhere. What is louder is the turbo whistle.

Love it!

is this with one or no back box? Full system or cat back? Thanks

Standard system and straight thro rear section with a fancy tip, Loads of tips to choose from.. I thought this suited it.

And because its custom made it fits 100%

The only "off the shelf" exhaust i`v had issues with is milltek patchy build quality tbh

sounds pretty good to me.

and another, i do think it sounds good, i think im going with this option.

I dont like the Miltek cos in their pics the end tips look dodgy and not lined up, Jetex has a nasty looking tip.

Ive had magnex on my saxo vtr that was just to big for the car

Scorpion for my VTR just did not fit hence the above

Ashley for my VTS fitted like dump.

Scorpion for my astra coupe turbo fitted and sounded ok but crap tail pipe

Thats why i opted fot a custom Powerflow, Fits so nice, and well pleased with the sound. Actually im now going to go for a ride

Same as mine but i havnt got the inward rolled ends

Am I the only one that doesnt like the twin exit?

They just look to small in the indent IMO i much prefer the look of the stock tip

For all the hating trolls :giggle:

I love it

I wasnt saying one was better than the other buddy, yours looks great, I was just showing that the twin rounds can fill the gap a little more to the previous poster. Its all personal preference.

that sounds pretty good. how much would I be looking to pay for it to be done on my Ibiza, need to oval tip to fill my new bumper

tom

sounds good mate, left you a lil comment

it must be you that gary spoke to me about, said he done a turboback on a fabia vrs and it sounded awesome, said it was more like a petrol? is it annoyingly loud or just when you kick it? any chance of a video?

Doesn't really do it any justice need to get a drive by video.

It's loud when you want it to be but ok when your just cruising around.

I know, wasnt directed to any one hence the giggle at the end

on mine each tip is 60mm, whole diameter is 140mm

Fits snug and just the right size
