Are my MK1 VRS seats just normal Fabia seats with VRS covers?

How are we suppost to know without a picture or some sort of information of what you are talking about lol?

aren't the vrs seats shaped a bit more, like bucket seats for that sporty feel?

I believe vRS seats have bigger side bolsters up the back of the seat than non-vRSes.

But they are the same as the sports seats

I was thinking of swapping my seats for some in the for sale forum but they are from a comfort so prob not bother.

While we're on the subject, anyone got some sport seats they want to swap for VRS just get in touch.

But not before you've got in touch with me, I've had a wanted ad up for sports seats for a while

Doesn't seem to be many of them around tbh, I've never seen a set for sale on here or on eBay although I'd really prefer them to the grey vRS ones...

This thread doesn't really make any sense? The sports seats are black and you say youve got vrs covers so it cant be them. Get a picture up, Theres not a chance youve got standard seats with vrs covers as they wouldnt fit. Probably just normal Vrs seats... What makes you think your seats are different??

No. I think he's asking because someone is selling a set of seats in the For Sale section, however they've taken THE WORST POSSIBLE PICTURE to sell them with. You can't see the shape of the seats in the advert at all, the pics are taken from the back?

So the poster of this thread was probably interested in the seats because of the colour (black with grey centres), and posted this thread to find out whether the shape would be the same as his vRS seats or different. The answer is that they're different, and the only other seats that were the same shape as the vRS ones were the Sport ones that come in black.

The last & only set of sports seats I saw were on ebay at £600!!

Yeah, I'm resigned to not buying some. Personally, my hope is that I can see someone talking about a retrim on their Sport seats, and I can slip them a little bit of cash and my (quite tatty) vRS seats as they'll be getting them retrimmed anyway and the condition won't be so important...

They fit, but they're not quite the same shape as the vRS. Even the cupra ones are different

They're easy to spot due to the dipped headrest area, they're styled a bit like the Golf Mk4/Leon Cupra R Recaro seats in that regard. Softscoop has some Polo GTI seats in his vRS I think, but they're flatter than the vRS seats and the big bolsters don't come as high up on the seat.

Yeah, I have Polo GT seats in mine. Same car as vRS, but different seat design.

Polo GTI seats are more bolstered on the side, and look similar to Mk5 Golf GTI seats. They're even harder to come by than Fabia Sports at a reasonable price. There is a set for sale here...but the price

You know Jamie? He has Golf seats in his Fabia I think he had to mess about with the subframe of them.

His car is now a bit... broken, so might be worth seeing what he's doing with parts?

Yeh they are the sport seats, same bolsters etc, just a better material. Funny you should mention about the logo's, it was something I was really eager to do when I first got the seats, but time has gone by and nothing has happened! Still need to figure out who could make me some logos up, or even get them from some old seat covers, or floor mats.
