Any plans already??

  • Author

Plenty but it won't be until New Year that I start on it.

A few Plans are:

Snorkel

Diff & steering guards

Heavy duty winch bumper & winch

Body lift

New lift suspension probably +5" & dislocation cones

Bigger tyres......unsure as to what yet tho

Fit the omp steering wheel out the drifter

Reclining bucket seats

Lamp pod

Light bar (roof)

New headlight bulbs

Other stuff as I learn more about them :)

Sounds like a plan! Not a trackday weapon plan then? :D

You can drift anything if you put your mind to it :)

That would be the first Chelsea Tractor Drift Weapon!

It won't be the first, but it'll be fun all the same :D

This will 100% end up looking awesome! Based on the last car anyway!!!

Picking it up tomorrow so I'll get better pics and start a new thread :)

Just remember bull bars are now illegal in the EU, and also check that you can actually fit a winch to a road going vehicle. Pedestrian safety has outlawed a lot of 4x4 front end changes.

Plenty of guys I know have them fitted, ones an mot tester and hasn't mentioned anything. The police are often up there checking vehicles and no ones been done so I'll take the risk ;)

I'll keep all the standard gear aswell just incase :)

Scrap that it was rotten as a peach!!

You can get "foam" bull bars, nicely chromed - no difference from steel ones as the foam is of a hard variety :)
