Has anyone put silver mercury bulbs on their Octavias ?

Im looking to get a set for my car about 10 usd delivered. But don't know what change/ differnt effect I might get with them.?

They say that the turn signal housing which looks kind of amber wont look so !!

Is that it ? Or are there any other effects/benefits also ?

Do you mean like Philips silvervision bulbs? They much improve the look of the car. I have them front and rear on mine.

I got some on mine. Stopped the "fried egg" effect. Does look quite good on the silver car - now, it's only silver and black, no orange!

Same here Philips Silver Vision in my Mk2 Octy looks alot better at the front being a silver car i could'nt believe the difference , well worth it , just got to do the back ones now and L.E.D number plate bulbs .

Are they easy to fit indicator bulbs? I heard they were a pig on the preFL.

Ya there are like the Phillips silvervision..<br />Is the effect any different when they are in operation ?<br /><br />the Benz W212 has somethin similar to these bulbs from the factory and looks quite good when in operation an otherwise ! Will I get a similar look ? Or that flash is because of the led setup ??

Dead easy. Little fiddly, but dead easy.

Just been looking at the ones on Superskoda and the Trunk lights don't seem over expensive , also plenty of canbus error free ones on ebay to choose from

LED number plate lights just don't work on FL s

Many claim to be error free but till now among all the forums and posts that I have read none seem to work until and unless you have a parallel bulb ...or you add resistors ..

Mine is 2006 year car so ok with the canbus free led's luckily

Ok got my bulbs today ...! Don't really like them ... Removed them the moment I put them ..!

Anyone interested in having them ... I'll give them out at no charge as long as the postage is covered.!
