Sorry, but the Superb was a bit to long and would not fit in my garage, and no it could not be extended at the front or back.

No need to apologise... sometimes we all need to go for 2nd best

...and apart from those immature ****s on Top Gear, I can find no review that DOESN'T state the Superb is "superb"!

Not sure where this came from, John, but the Top Gear guys had the Superb as their luxury car of the year 2009...see here. I haven't heard them say a bad word about Skoda and had lots of good things to say about the Yeti in an article last year.

Hi Simon, I was actually referring to an article by the idiotic immature trio of Clarkson, Hammond and May where they don't have much good to say about the Superb.

The Top Gear Magazine is a different kettle of fish and I know they sing Skoda's praises.

To be fair, I actually like the Top Gear programme, I just wish Clarkson and Hammond would grow up!!!!!

Thanks for the advice Gizmo. The company I've chosen to fit my towball is a specialist in the field. I've discussed all the issues with them re- cabling, compatibility, warranty etc etc and they have assured me they know what they're doing. I've also used them twice before in tha past with no hiccups.

Anyway, time will tell. I'm damned if I'll pay the Skoda dealers price of £1000 when I expect they'll ship it out to Trident Trailers anyway which is what VW did with my Tiguan!!!!!!
