Gotta say Bryan, I'd still have a JPS Capri at the drop of a hat, and the Lotus 79 was always my favourite! So now it's all come together, it's got to be a from me too!

Think those exhuast pipes need a touch of gold... :giggle:

I'm melting down SWMBO's jewellery as we speak

Looks good Brimmer!!

I can see why you gave it alot of thought as its a big outlay for rear lights.......wonder what they would look like on a white cobi hmmmm :wonder:

I like them but I'm not sure about their effectiveness when the sun is out and using the brake as there does seem to be alot of shine/reflectiness to them

Am really liking that

Would love to see your car up close some day, looks fantastic IMO :)

If you like it and are happy then  that's all that matters.

I appreciate the fanbois here will lap it up but there is far too much black (in my irrelevant opinion), it ends up almost looking like a hearse. Why you'd want to drive around advertising ciggies from the 70's/80's is beyond me completely.

However if we all liked the same things the world would be a boring place eh? Carry on 'styling' it though it as its certainly good entertainment to help pass the cold winter nights while I'm stuck at work.

If this was a Corsa/Saxo (for example) with blacked out lights and stick-on 'bling' (all show and no 'go') posted here from somewhere like Barryboys(etc) I fear opinions might differ somewhat!

what more would you like?

The logic behind the JPS isn't to advertise cigarettes (although you could argue that is the effect), it's because I love the old JPS Lotus F1 colour scheme

As for the hearse, I've never seen an Octavia vRS hearse, so can't comment

That's quite cool, classy :D

Bryan, looks Stunning emoticon-0148-yes.gif

I must be a fanboi then

Just think blacked out lights look good on an obviously well looked after and cared for car.

Also the black/gold combo reminds me of the old Norton Rotary race bikes from early 90's

Very nice. Looks great.

KO4 - for the common rail diesel......really? :o

Good shop, with good customer service if something might be wrong. (I am a good Amazon customer emoticon-0144-nod.gif )

Didnt find the shop with the best price a couple of days after we wrote. Vanished or bankrupt? emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

Did you get an answer to your question?

They really suit your car. Do they do unsmoked versions?

Looks very nice

Brimma, as the owner of a completely standard (but fairly loaded) FL vRS TSI estate in silver, I really like what you've done to yours (with the exception of the JPS decals on the front wings!)

Different from the norm and evil / stealth looking.

I have to say, (IMO) a well sorted estate is the best an Octy can get!

LED lights have to be the way forward. Look at all the quality marques adopting LEDs both front & rear.

Speaking of which, are you planning on doing the fronts too?

Cheers, Dunc

Thanks again for the kind words

I'm more than happy to do the fronts if someone can point me in the direction of something legal, and preferably tinted B)

Wadyer mean? The JPS decals set that car off! Otherwise what's the point of the black and gold
