Featured Replies

i don't think i have had a bulb last more than about 3 months.

no.. i have ocd about this now...

Are they seated correctly in the holder?

It is quite easy (as the job is fiddly if the headlight isn't removed) to not seat the bulb properly in it's holder.

This then causes the bulb to vibrate significantly shortening it's life.

If not what about a poor earth?

Are they branded bulbs or Halfords cheapies?

Are you buying the same brand of bulb from the same place? Could be a bad batch?

As said - Are these decent branded bulbs?

I did it decent bulbs in it.. About £20. Got fed up of those blowing so just put a cheap on in..

It is seated right as I take the headlights out to do the job...
