Think it is to do with the sun roof...

Sun roof is black top, white carpet

No sunroof is white top and white carpet

Been in a few and that seems to be the trend.

Later models had black trim

Yep it's the age, pre 2003 I think has a light headlining and post 2003 has dark, mine is a 2003 with dark headlining!

Same here on a Silver 05'

Where are people getting black head lining from? Its a dark gray lol if it was black it would be the same color as the trim on the interior light lol plus the grab handles are a lighter shade of gray with wouldn't go with a black head lining. Mine is on a 52 plate with dark grey head lining and top trims

Mine is half and half with bits missing at moment,

I won a dark grey headlining on ebay and grab handles then my computer crashed so missed out on sunvisors and interior light,

Headlinings in with rear interior lights added and grab handles, i've left B pillar trims out as i had intension of removing white carpet and cleaning it when weather brighten up but not got round to it yet

My old 52 plate vrs and my current 04 vrs, both have dark grey roof lining.

My 53 plate VRS - no roof - has a dark grey roof lining.

Ok I'm getting confused here! I thought there was only 2 colours for Vrs head lining, cream or dark grey, does this mean there's a third black one?

Mine has dark gray with gray plastics Nowt is black. The interior light was black till I broke it last week and got a grey one that matches the grey of the plastics and looks better than what was fitted lol

I honestly can't remember what mine is, only had the car since feb 06.

I'll have a look and let you know, this could get real interesting now as I'm colour blind lol

02 - no sunroof - dark gray

Ive jst won a full set of blackheadlining and all the gubbins for 15quid is that about right.

About 40 quid too cheap! lol

Mine was a 52 plate and was charcoal grey headlining. I've got a mate with an 02 near me with a sunroof... will see what his has got

52 plate with Dark grey headlining and very dirty should be white carpet

Errrr ....Black I think ....I'll get a photo for you to decide, as it could be classed as charcoal, but my wonky eyes couldn't be sure
