Octy2 Dashboard Storage Compartment

Featured Replies

Bought this as a spare. I was going to mod it to fit my satnav into, but I've changed my mind.

Rob_e has done a really good guide on it, for his Garmin. Would work equally well with a TomTom unit:

Modding guide

Genuine Skoda part with the rubber mat included, as new condition. Is the entire unit, so included the top centre vents as well.

Part number is 1Z9 820 951B.

£65 from the dealer - £25 delivered from me :)

Cheers,

Steve

Bump - forgot I still had this :)

Open to reasonable offers.

Hi Wardy. Is there any way of stopping the lid rising beyond a certain point? It'd be ideal if it could only open half way so it didn't obscure part of the windscreen, whilst being tight enough to jam my smartphone (sorry, but dont have a fancy iphone!) in the gap, for sat nav purposes? If there is, it might be a cheaper and more OEM solution to a Brodit bracket.

Hi there. I am picking up an Octavia mk 2 estate tomorrow and may well be interested in this.

I would take it for £15

Thanks

There might well be, if you could stop the hinge mechanism past a certain point. The mech is a simple 'two wheel' affair - I'll post some pics up of it if you like.

Give me a shout when you get the car, and if you still want/need it we'll talk numbers :)

Sure will.

Cheers.

Still have this available at £25 - including UK delivery.

Will look at postage options for our European neighbours, no problem at all :)
