Clear indicators

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any pictures of their car with clear indicator bulbs fitted please. Would like to see if they look any good or not

Thanks

Dont have a pic but i do have the silver bulbs fitted they get rid of that orange tinge to the lights which i despise. If thats what your looking to get rid of its worth it.

I had clear on the front and blue on the rear of my old civic but wondered how much it changed the look. Could I trouble you for a pic or 2 of your front and rear lights please. Also I assume it's the PY21W you need? Ta

I've got Philips silvervision all round on mine i'll grab a pic later for you.

I guess powerbulbs is the best place to get then especially as we get discount being a briskoda member

Actually quite difficult to photograph, but they do make a difference and are highly recommended. I de-tango anything I own :)

Either SilverVision or I have a Osram Diadems all round this time, which I've used before and I like the look of. They have a slight blue tinge but flash orange. Just makes the light clusters look a bit more interesting IMO.

Pulled up some images which hopefully help:

BEFORE (cropped down from an original sale photo for my car):

Not brilliant and the colour balance is off, but this is the only shot I have the car with std indicators as I swapped them as soon as I got it back home!

AFTER, WITH DIADEMS:

Hopefully you make out the slight blue hint....

EDIT:

Some Diadem rear shots. Don't have any original indicator shots at all I'm afraid. Ignore the blue tape; pics taken during detailing :)

Thanks everyone, looks like I'll be going the clear route. Loved the blue on my civic but that had quite a bit done to it, think clear would suit the elegance

Now to find the best price

Look good but they seem expensive...£25 for 4 bulbs??

Cheaper versions are available but will they last as long.... never had much luck with premium bulbs, despite the claims!

I heard that these bulbs aren't as bright as the OEM orange ones?

I have seen them here for about 6€ a pair.

I work mate has them on his Fabia, they look more orange compared to normal but when they blink they look cooler.

I may get pair, tomorrow I will show you on 2010 model

Good post alberg, so these silver bulbs do appear to be dimmer then, not sure that's a trade-off I'm prepared to make...

I like the darker, moodier look. What do the lights look like when they aren't flashing please?

My current Diadems, and SilverVisions I've used in the past have had absolutely no problem with the visibility of the flashing. I'd say the current Diadems create a brighter indication than the standard bulbs.

I just wouldn't use 'no-name' silver effect or clear bulbs to do this, that's all.

They are Phillips and the ones posted by Alberg are unbranded. Sorry, was wondering what they looked like although I am thinking the same as Wardy, I prefer to go with a named brand especially when it comes to lights. They might be double but they last years so its not exactly loads. Think I will buy some osram front and rear and go clear. Thanks guys

Nice. Diadems look good on the FL.

Just enough of a colour tinge to keep things interesting :)
