So, who would like one of these...................

Featured Replies

seen in London today by my son

I'll have two please. Epic cars and would be my first buy after a lottery win. This a GTR and an Atom

It's alright i suppose ;-)

Think I just did a sex wee

We recently did a job up in Woking surveying a small industrial park, which had a small McLaren building in it.

Having seen and heard one of these (in black, with the numberplate '12C') do a full-bore take off out of the junction, I can say that I loved it. Preferred the F1 that broke cover and did the same thing the day after though...

Looks rubbish in orange!

obviously having more money than midas himself entitles you to abandon your car on double yellow lines

even i i won the lottery i wouldnt buy a car like that, i'd still be happier bumbling around in my pickup

It actually look surprisingly dull for the 12C. You can customise the nuts off them and this looks like it's missing quite a bit. No carbon fibre extras for one thing.

Does look nice though.

If I had a car like that I wouldn't park it there. I bet the owner didn't leave it for long or if they did, they were in a nearby building keeping a close eye on it ;)

They were running couple of these in at Millbrook when I was up there, as they are supplied with the car tested and ready to go.

I have to say they are very nice.

seen a couple on my way to/from work, like them a lot

It's probably the only current 'supercar' I'd fancy. That'd be the colour for me, too. Wonder what it would look like with gold wheels? (Sorry Brian).

I'd rather have an F1, though.

Rob.

I like the way the vanity wing mirrors fold in so that the driver can check out how good looking they are :giggle:

I was thinking the same thing, I never like black wheels on a Black car, Gold might look Good. Having said that, I'm not keen on that car in Black. I actually do like it in the Orange/bronze colour.

I also agree with the second point, I much prefer the Gordon Murry designed F1.

I'd take the car any day of the week, but he can keep the parking ticket he's going to get for having the back end on double yellows

Mind you, if you can afford an MP4-12C, you can afford a £60 parking ticket. I'd love to see it clamped though :giggle:

No need to apologise, Rob, I’d be more upset now if people DIDN'T mention gold wheels

Actually looking at the first couple of pics, which would cost more, the car or the registration number?

They are probably not far apart in terms of cost. One depreciates a lot more though, not that someone with that kind of money cares.

If I could afford one of them I'd buy an F40 instead.

Its ok i suppose , but it would be very hot and uncomfortable for my dog in the back :giggle:

A mapped Fabia vRS is faster though :giggle:
