Unlike F1, Moto GP is far from boring

Featured Replies

Anyone see it ? Rossi may be king but he still makes it exciting.

10 mins to go and he goes 0.5 sec quicker than anyone, then to really rub everyones nose in it he goes another 0.5 sec quicker in the last 5 min.

Sete will not be a happy bunny.

I must say presenters of the Eurosport coverage are brilliant. The tech. info is great and Randy does a great job from the pits. They make it so exciting. Roll on tomorrow :D

Will be watching tomorrow - a lot more exciting than F1...!

Been watching MotoGP for the past 5 or 6 years now.

Rossi has amazing skill & determination. The highlight for me was this time last year when he won the opening round on the Yamaha, when every said it wasn't competitive. You could see Rossi was emotional on the cooling down lap.

Nicky Hayden is one to watch, & Marco Melandri. Where was Biaggi?!! Repsol Honda boss wasn't happy with his qualifying!!

Shall be watching the race eagerly 2moro.

Rossi is brilliant at the mind games, I think he loves winding Sete up :D .

He has savage bike control, I can't remember what track but he sat up mid through the corner to give an apologetic wave for making contact with another rider. He's a legend.

I thought it was brilliant last year the incident with the sweeping brush :rofl::rofl: .

What a final lap or should I say last half lap, guys if you missed it I'd recommend watching any review programmes (even if your not into the bikes), wow  .

Couldn't help feeling sorry for Sete today - that was definately a Schumacher manouver Rossi pulled on him - as in I'm not winning so i'll cheat. That was my feeling at the time anyway. I think Rossi is by far the best rider out there, and shouldn't have to resort to such tactics.

Top race though, roll on the next round!

That last lap was AMAZING!

Sete not happy!

It was a racing incident, with 2 riders pumped full of adrenelin. Neither was going to give way.

It was a fantastic lap...last move is one of those...

Sete should of seen it comming and Rossi should not have done it if you catch my drift...

Fantastic lap and I learn more about bike racing watching that than I do about F1 :D

As Rossi said when interviewed in park ferme "this is motorcycle racing!"

You're not wrong there kid!

Next weekend, Estoril..........

**** the bed what a race !!!

i was thinking he didnt have enough shove from the slow corners but the Doctor did it again... to quote the commentator from BBc2 "forget calling him the doctor, he's a magician" ... awesome is the only way to describe that guy.

favourite bit was when he took Sete first half way round, he popped a wheelie and had the wheel turned ready for the bend before the front of the bike landed... mental !

i dont think there was anything wrong with the move he made on the last corner, he got down the inside cause Sete had over cooked it a little into the corner, then all he did was let the bike run a little wider than normal to make sure Sete couldnt come back in on him. From the angle i saw he got beside him before they banked for the corner anyway... fair play in my book.

in some ways you have to feel sorry for Sete though, he led the race from the start but just hasnt got enough in the bag to keep Rossi behind him.

I watched the motoGP last night too..... have to agree with GAFF - far more exciting than F1 (and I have been an avid F1 fan for ages). The difference for me is I would love a crack at an F1 car around a track, but you wouldn't catch me near a bike (unless I was wearing incontinence pants).

I think the final lap incident between Rossi & Gibernau was exactly that... a racing incident. Both were side by side into the corner, and both somewhat over-committed. Rossi seemed to lean into Gibernau, and he had to bail into the gravel. It's a bit like high speed soccer rules... shoulder to shoulder is allowed!

...And it makes for compelling viewing... from the safety of the couch of course!
