Limited Edition VRs Blackline - Anyone ever heard of them?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Newbie here, found this forum a couple of weeks ago and has helped me out no end.

I have just orderd my Octavia VRs Blackline?? Its basicaly a VRs with Black wheels and full leather etc, but has anyone ever heard of them??

Have to wait til July til delivery though :-(

It might be a ’black pack’ option, but I’ve never come across it being referred to as a vRS Blackline before, that would suggest it is a recognised derivative

Looks Green to me.

Obviously bought with some kind of Forces discount

Very nice though

Lol yeah, i dont like the green, i have ordered a Candy White one, with the black wheels.

It is indeed a forces discount, we live in Germany. Coming back over in July to pick her up. As long as Skoda stick to thier timeline :-)

Fingers crossed, im like my kids on Xmas eve already!!

Thats a good price! i do like the green though,i quite fancy a green estate with black wheels & roof.

Very nice, are they UK registered or German? LHD?

Cracking deal

They are full UK registered RHD cars, we are just really lucky and are allowed to buy them tax free, and keep them for 12 months minimum.

i think it is a belter of a deal, too good for me to pass up, even the wife agrees..........now thats rare lol

That deal is a win win for you. Good to know theres some perks for all you do in the day job

I actually like the green but white is a good choice too.

Not heard about this package. Could it be an early indication of a run out phase before the Octavia 3????

I got mine direct from Skoda dealer brand new for 17k. Only 2k less but the 0 miles on the clock. Might be worth waiting for a 0% VAT offer again on new cars or see how much force discount you get on a brand new one.

All the package is, is this----- 18-inch Neptune black alloy

PR code: CB0

RRP inc VAT: £115, then they have added leather, no such thing as a limited addition blackline

Bloody good price though

Sounds like a nice choice! I hope you haggled them down a little or played them off against FCD. Griffin have as part of deal bought people eurostar tickets when bringing trade in or come and collected them from Gatwick, just in case you didn't know. Enjoy Brighton in July.

Nice car and a good deal. You lads all deserve the tax break and the fact that the wife agrees is even better!

Ahh sorry didn't read it fully.

Is this just for forces overseas? as it seems alot cheaper than forces cars direct

Hi Shane,

no worries, it is indeed, just for the lads posted outside the UK, have been posted in Germany for a few years now, but have never taken the plunge so to speak.

What most people do, is trade it in after 12 months for another brand new one at no extra cost...........my only problem is that i might fall in love with this one and not let it go lol

my local dealer has a vrs in green as a demo, its looks ok in the flesh it just just needed black wheels i thought. so your on a winner there , keep up the good work!

That just needs some decent wheels on it that aren't black.

the problem with buying tax free cars is you get use to having cheap new cars, bit of a shocker when you get your 1st tax paid new one  , I bought 4 during my 11 years in BFG

Totally agree with you, it all starts when you take your 12 month old car back to the UK to register it on the DVLA system and get hit with the Road Tax and then the fuel etc etc - we live a charmed life over here and its not gonna last forever...

Cup Cakes, Biscuits and Buns

No, No, No Alan, you'll be washing and polishing Tanks

I bought 4 during my 11 years in BFG

I’m thinking of auditioning for a part in ’Shrek’

Would that entitle me to a tax-free car? ;)
