Decided what car is next

Always fancied getting a 170bhp superb estate, but having looked on auto trader earlier I fancy a yellow Octavia estate with dark wheels.

this one

The wife won't let me change for a couple of years but I don't mind waiting :)

Don't get a yellow on Ben, they look horrific!

Looks great with the black wheels.

IMO needs black mirrors too, and a small drop.

Yellow is the bestest. Looks awesome that estate. B)

plus matt black wrapped grill surround!

Yellow sticks out from the crowd, however i would have liked rallye green but the wife said Steel Grey...ha ha

She really has no taste picking the most boring colour lol

Exactly tell her to wind her neck in! The Skoda internet people said so!

That looks great. I was looking at a yellow hatch with black wheels before I got my blue estate but te seller wouldn't let me have it for the price I wanted to pay. I agree it does need black mirrors and grille surround though.

Something to aim for :)

I always wanted blue but seeing that combo works for me. Black grille is also a good shout

I'll get one, one day. Wife didn't mind the colour. She loved my old red civic with white wheels

Problem solved :- Be happy - change car immediately, and change of wife will follow.

She's being sensible, we still owe my folks 2.5k for my car and while it's only me working and supporting 2 children the pd105 is the best choice. 2 years time should be different and then I can go banana :)

go for it mate ;)

Neily, not sure how I missed your reponse. Will obviously have to see one in the flesh first, but I like to be different and this certainly fits the bill :)

Yellow is the new white! Take it!

Yellow wouldnt be my first choice, however it does look good with the black wheels.

That is nice!!!! You will stand out,,, keep it clean!!!

Lol, I would love one for the future ;)

The wife would kick me in the nuts repeatedly if I came home with that :)

I'd have it. I have very nearly gone yellow several times this century but been talked out of it each time.

You need to be thick-skinned from the responses I have had from colleagues.

I have been to look at yellow cars on garage forecourts in summer and the car has been overloaded with insects attracted to the colour!

No word of a lie, I love this car!

170bhp diesel, 4x4 and fully loaded. It's been on the forecourt of my local dealer for over 12 months.

OK, there are a lot more people who loath the Seat Altea Freetrack than love it, but I'd have it in yellow tomorrow :giggle:

The Octavia yellow is a little half-hearted, it looks a bit faded or washed out to me?

Plastic bumper overload!!!! My god that's ugly. Loved my Leon though.

Seriously, dude, that is one ugly ****er :)

Not surprised its glued to the forecourt..

That's actually the most ugly car I have ever seen.

Can't imagine why!!

Go on put the dealer out his misery, bet they'd be happy to make a loss just to clear it.

Me too. Would love a Scout in Yellow with anthracite wheels. Have to agree about paleness of the yellow though. I went to a dealer about 18 months ago but they'd just sold their Freetrack 4, same too with DM Keith who had just sold one when I was going to Harrogate one time. Got the brochure though and its a well specced vehicle. Coincidentally runs on the same relatively obscure tyre size as the Scout too.
