Thank you guys.    I wouldn't normally spill my guts to the internet, but I had to do something in order for me to move past the initial fear and become the positive, cheeky chappie I need t

As you can tell, I’m now out the other side     The operation didn’t exactly go to plan as I’ve woken up ticking like a clock because I now have a mechanical valve. Not ideal, but I’m alive!

Seing them in that state makes me rather mad :(

Some people shouldn't have nice things!

In all honesty, Joe, I can't 100% make my mind up :D I really like the clean look like the SE leather, but don't fancy a saggy seat later. I loooove Tim's style, but been done already and not sure if I would get bored and regret not going sleek later.

So I'm left with trying to come up with something unique. Nothing wrong there but I don't really have much of a creative streak, although Zee doesn't agree, so left if for a couple of days and try again :D

I was deadly serious... but as you say, saw sense!

Yeah tell me about it :( He's talking about getting rid so may off him silly money and sort them out.

Did he smash them to bits of kerbs?

If so maybe wiser handing in the driving license and opting for a bus pass :o

Yup :(

He does 30k a year so won't be long til I have his bits :giggle: (services it well but treats it bad)

I was in the same boat when I was getting my leather so thought I'd go completely unique :)

Not your sort of unique dude. Although I do like what you have and does look good with your black car, I haven't got the balls for eye catching, more subtle for me I think with my silver :)

I was deadly serious... but as you say, saw sense!

had you been down St. Pauls again Jay :D

Right then, a much happier bunny now after this long week. Finally made a start on my doors..... sealed one rear door and finally got my hands on that bloody door handle torx screw   I knew this was going to be a learning curve taking my door apart and I was well prepared for my patience to be tested, and I was not wrong

After drilling out the rivets I attempted to unclip the door electrics, but as I have baby soft office worker hands   I couldn't get it off. So after a few hours and some very sore fingers, I enlisted this man....

I finally was able to fish this out

Now that bloody little gold thing had me going for a good couple of hours before I finally managed to get it to sit properly   but once in, a few more hours of faffing about trying to get the silver lock arm into the door card without prying it off, forgetting to re-attach the door handle cable amongst other things and I was finally done :)

When I removed the rear door card, it was obvious where the leaks were and thankfully only in two small places. I did take some pictures on my proper camera and have managed to upload them to Photobucket now :)

Anyway, I drillied out the bottom and side rivets and propped open. Gave a quick clean and dry before applying a couple of quick lines behind the carrier before re-riveting and adding some more stinky Shell stuff Garry gave me for the job....

So that's the off-side all done, back together and working properly again and just need to do the near-side, but that will have to wait probably til after Christmas now, so pushing back plans a little :@

Need to give myself a week to fit this as it's my first attempt, I plan to change a few things and add some bits at the sale time so I will be taking my time :D

So I made a start of some tasty updates today B)

First up, I wanted to raise my suspension a little as I want to put my splitter on and the roads around my house are not yet finished. I'm hoping 4 more threads will do it

Anyway, never straightforward, one was a little seized and required some penetrating oil spraying on it and will leave it overnight.

So I make a start on removing the engine shield and the two wheel arch liners. Nice and simple , but then I spot this  :wall:

Seems as though the Lamin-X has saved it from shattering and causing a right mess :)

So, after removing the fog lights, which allowed me to get at the SMIC. All I can say is what a mess!

My car has just clocked 96k and does suffer terrible fuel economy IMO, so hope this will go some way in improving it :wonder:

I've also installed my PD160......

So I have finished for the day as I was getting hungry and needed to do some homework ;) Back on it tomorrow and hope by the end of the day the new FMIC, EGR delete, OEM Xenons will all be on and will just need the splitter attaching to the bumper before I put it back on. Also have some other things sat waiting but not sure if I will get round to it this week..... we'll see
