I have just bought a new home PC from my local independant PC shop (Q-Tek, Stevenage; whom I have used for quite some years) and now have my 'old' Home PC For Sale that will be suitable for moderate internet, processing and gaming use.

The PC for sale was put together by my local PC Shop in 2005 at a cost in excess of £1,000 and has had a few changes and upgrades since e.g, change of case (from Shuttle to Silverstone) and graphics card. Its current specification is;-

Intel Pentium '4' 550J 3.4Ghz Socket 775 800FSB CPU - 1MB

Variable speed (auto/manual) CPU fan with rear mounted control.

2 GB RAM - 2 x 1024MB

160GB SATA HDD - brand new installed by Q-Tek (space for second HDD is available)

LG SATA DVD-RW drive

3.5" floppy disc drive

NVidia GeForce 8600GT - 256MB graphics card (heatsink type cooling with 2 x fans mounted in case above).

Audiology Sound Card

Windows XP Home - SP2 - fresh install from original disc (Licence sticker on case) and all drivers configured by Q-Tek

I have a documents wallet with relevant install discs.

Windows 7 Compatability test has been run and it is suitable for a 32-bit install.

The case is in excellent conditions and all the internals are clean and pretty much dust free. One of the factors of the Silverstone case is plently of cooling vents and to keep dust out I fitted sections of J-Cloth to act as a filter some years ago.

Happy to sell the PC on its own. That was my original intention and I only added the screen / keyboard / mouse to make a 'package'.

Due to the small size this would make a great base for building a nice HTPC!

Just realised that I've still got this PC available including the originally listed keyboard, mouse and 15" (or 17") monitor. Sorry but 19" Phillips monitor now being used elsewhere.
