Those slow, boring but surprisingly warm things

Yeah thats one :D

Lol oh yeah with those really useful wipers too....

I have wipers on my bike.  It is called a vee wipe.

Cars have their places. They are abit boring unless you spend silly money.

But i got in an argument with a keen women in a fiesta earlier which ended in a traffic light GP before she could merge in

I won

But she was in the faster car n no way would i of got the thrill factor off the line on the bike.

Id of been in next week before she'd of let the clutch out :D

There was tension for me as i knew we both had nothing. It was just off the line skill. In which i had, but i wont do that to my clutch again :D

I have to ask and have often wondered.  If you are such a keen motorcyclist what are you doing on here?  :notme::D

There's nothing like the occasional traffic light gp start ! Especially when you are the underdog. Tension I usually incredible !!

Can be fun on the bike when there's a reasonably quick car with a half decent driver - well for the first 5 yards anyway lol

Need to get something as the last few weeks I've had tea visor crud issues and wiping just makes it worse !!

Whos this to? Haha.

I do like my Fabia. Just came on to browsing n ended up staying haha.

It is! Cant beat a GP haha.

Ive rarely had a decent one on a bike tbh. Just not come up against the right stuff with the right person driving tbh.

Had one with a Golf R once, but that was too easy to be fun tbh

Oooh Oli, Chris called you a motorcyclist and not a biker....ouch.

You're clearly not spending enough time in the saddle mate :-)

Golf r is quick but not quick enough !!!

I enjoy letting the racer get a good head start so they feel nice n smug then go rip snorting past them shortly afterwards.

There's usually a company car driving boy racer who feels the need to have a go at some point during my weekly commute. Very entertaining.

Im not spending enough time in the saddle. I admit.

Its this chuffin weather :(.

We should move to NZ for 6 months of the year, then back again when winters over :D.

You think im joking mate. Id rather not see his username pop up :D.

Well tomorrow I'm thinking if today's weather continues I'm actually going to treat the bike to a de smeg.

It is absolutely caked in grime and going in for another service on Monday so always like to have it looking clean when under the scrutiny of the bmw technician.

If they find anything that needs a warranty claim then if they can see it's been well looked after hopefully they'll be more sympathetic.

'Another'? How many miles do you do a year on it?

I agree though. I like to show my stuffs looked after when i take it in. I like to think it makes them care for it abit better.

Yeah, doing around 12000 a year now. If I'm popping out anywhere I tend to take the bike. Really enjoyed getting back into reasonable mileage again. Had a few years only doing 3 or 4000 because of work.

Many years ago I managed just over 60000 in one year lol I was forever servicing the bike !!
