Afternoon all

Following previous success way back when with a couple of airfield days and the more recent success of the How Fast event I am looking at getting a large Briskoda presence at a trackday or 2 this season.

The incentive of attending with other Briskodians, other than the fact we're all thoroughly nice blokes, is (hopefully) a discount on the price due to bulk booking.

I'm thinking that a 3 hour evening session at Cadwell Park on Monday 11th June woudl make an ideal starting point.

The circuit is known as the UK's Mini-Nurburgring and has trickly corners faster sweepers and elevation changes aplenty and the map looks like this

The event is being hosted by Javelni trackdays who I (and a few other members) have used in the past and found fantastic.

The current "Book Early" price is £69 but this will rise as the places sell and the event gets nearer.

I am awaiting confirmation from Javelin on if we get a discount (or at least some incentive) for booking as a group and taking more than 10 cars but will update the thread in due course.

It's open to the public, it's not just Briskodian Skoda owners.

A bit too far for me to be worthwhile if I am honest. Probably 3+ hours each way on top of work.

yeah what he said - It's a public event anyone in any car can attend.

You could in theory book off your own back and go even if Briskoda don't go as a group.

However if we do get a load of Briskodians (regardless of what they now drive) to attend and book as a club hopefully there'll some a discount to be had.

As much as I'd love to do this, and it's the nearest (apart from Blyton Park) for me, there's no way that I could get that afternoon off work :(

Gutted i wont be able to make this. Dont think my Car will be track worthy by then :( dont wanna spend the 70 and then not have my car ready. Will you be organising more of these later on in the year?

4 hours for me too. I could stay over but the fact it's on Monday means I'd have to use 2 days holiday so unlikely for me too. :(

FYI i live neaer cadwell and if you guys ever do a weekend trackday you might like to know that there is an excellent YHA hostel called WOODYS TOP nearby. unfortunately when i last checked it is only available for group bookings for a full weekend sleeps abt 20
