Potential new Octavia VRS Owner

Lol yeah stupid iPad! £20800.

Cool, well got figure and screen printed so will take to the dealer in the morning. Hope we can come to deal now! As back to beginning looking for estate otherwise lol. Never had a new car before so if I'm going to take the plunge it must be right one etc.

I went to 2 skoda dealers, one quoted lowest price £18700 and the other £17,950 for the IDENTICAL car.

When I told the higher priced dealer the price I could get it for £17,950 he told me to go and buy it from them as by his own admission he couldn't even get close, how strange.

I brought mine from trust skoda, www.trustgroupuk.com but I think they are local to the midlands, might be worth the travel if the price is right though?

Hi all, still not done the deal yet! As dealer could not get where needed to be. Trying other ones tomorrow.

Don't forget the Maxidot and I would have the option of a spare wheel too

I stand corrected, I could have sworn somewhere I had seen that on the options list :-[

My factory order form (for July build) has Bi Xenon headlights with adaptive front lighting system and headlight washers...

Could that be a MY13 change?

they've said bi xenons for years on drive the deal. They aren't. Just adaptive with washers.

Order them and when the car arrives with standard xenon's ask for a partial refund :giggle:

Rhys, if you're still undecided about Xenons, consider this too:

If you travel to Europe regularly, they can be changed via the Maxidot to 'Travel Mode' which flattens the beam so you can drive in France, Germany etc without blinding oncoming traffic. A fantastic feature that avoids the need for silly black stickers on the lights.

Beware Xenons without Maxidot though - to amend them for going abroad will be trip to the dealer!
