My Car cost more than my house!

Featured Replies

Well not my car or my house, but saw this parked outside a house up the street from me. Anyone think he got 6 numbers on the lottery? :D

LOL nice Bentley. There are a fair few GTs around Leicester, I think there about 10 - 12 around here! But they are a very nice motor! :D

Could be actually as I live about 10 miles from 'Evo Magazine'.

Strange as it may seem but it doesn't look out of place there at all. I don't know if anyone car photo shop an Arnage on there, but i bet that would look odd....

I saw one with 20" chromed spinners in London - classy!

I've seen a fair few around the Crewe area...........though I dont know why :P

What is it? A Peugeot 407?

SOmeone round the corner from us has a smaller house that the one in the above picture - they have a carpeted and heated garage with a Ferrari 355 in it.

I would if my wife wasn't so sensible :(

Didn't one magazine run a piece about the possibility of selling your house, buying a supercar and living in it

Looks a bit like the nissan 350z in the photo.Didn't realise it was the Bentley :o

your learning the lingo!

Nice, but would you swap

They're common as anything round here, and too bloody wide for town centre streets. Got stuck behind one at the weekend as he couldn't turn out into traffic for the sheer size of the thing. Give me a DB9 anyday :D (not sure they're any narrower, but they look nicer ;) )

Nice shot anyway

Steve

saw one at the local Safeway the other week, parked diaganolly (spelling?) across 2 spaces...

guy and his wife in there 70's walked out and got in, the old dear could just about walk without the support of the trolley.

shocking waste of a car !

Yep, lots of people like that round here! I enjoy watching them trying to park outside my office, as there's on-street parking. A guy yesterday, again could barely walk when he *eventually* parked (took about 10 mins) - in an SL55 Merc :o:rolleyes:

That's Nothing, My mate works for Rolls Royce, He works for the quality and launch Dept, so he has to make sure that the Press cars are all OK before release, quite often I will turn up and he will have a brand spanking

I know this is slightly off-topic, but I read in a certain gentlemen's publication (so it must be true!) that Ferrari UK are starting to get fed up with their cars being associated with Burberry-clad footballers, so have started training their salesmen to spot them and get rid of them. Allegedly they've been told to ask 'Have you considered a Bentley, sir?'

LMAO at that!

The thing that 1st hits you about the RR is the size of it, you can't comprehend the size of it from the Press photo's. Almost surprised that you don't need a truck licence to drive it. Still a thing of immense beauty, but would I want one "Errm NO."

I know what you mean, spotted my first Phantom (think that's the name for the new one) outside a dealership in Newcastle and couldn't get over the size of it. Parked my astravan next to it and was completely dwarfed

It had the Reg BBC 1 too, car and reg were worth about half a million together!

A bit like this altho not anywhere near as much as the house:

Hmmm Aston Martin V8
