+ after putting them on decided the car was looking well enough to warrant putting a better engine in.. decided it would be too much of a waste to convert to pd so i bought another fabia estate but a tdi pd100 elegance with A/C + heated seats.. + starting swapping everything over>>

did you have drums in the back or did you just swap out your original discs to polo gti?

had drums on the sdi m8 n took them off, swapped handbrake cables.. the short brake pipes.. calipers.. carriers.. discs.. pads.. disc dust plate.. bolts for the carriers + thats all you need bud still same rear axle beam + rear bearings.. iv swapped the polo gti ones onto the tdi + sold the sdi with the rear disc set up off the tdi lol.. (i just wanted red calipers all round haha)

very nice :) some work gone into that! toally different car to the first pic

Brilliant, one of the nicest Fabias on here!!

Thanks for the coments.. tbh being black it looks better in pics but iv got a respray on the cards for next year ;-) nothing 2 in your face but its not staying black coz its a nightmare for scratches etc..

Wow you've made some great progress with this. Have you got it mapped at all? Would the old door cards suit the vrs interior better?

Ooh what colour did you have in mind?

  • Author

Iv got black vrs door cards in the front + black "running man" cards in the back.. they came in the tdi.. the sdi had horrible lime green cards with grey plastic.. havnt fitted the vrs seats to the tdi yet coz it came with black heated seats so there in the garage awaiting a red leather covering (when funds permit) at which point ill rip the heated element out of the current ones + swap with the vrs seats ;-)...

No map yet.. iv got 130 injectors, inlet, metal turbo inlet, airmass, airbox, intercooler + all pipework fitted aswell as vrs clocks + ibiza sport 130 ecu ready to fit + iv had decat + de centre silencer.. but i need a bigger turbo before i get a map done im wanting a garret 130 or 150 + a front mount + egr delete before i get it mapped so i dont have 2 pay more than once lol (tight yorkshireman ha)

going for a grey but not saying which ;-)

Holy ferkin moley!! I love this car, best looking fab on here by a mile!

I would love to own this. :)

Thread will now be followed.

Awesome project, will be very special once you've got the power mods done.

A well mapped pd150 will give you 3x standard SDI power! lol

thanks peeps.. just to clear up though i had an sdi fabia then bought a tdi fabia so the one with the air + bentleys is a propper tdi (PD100).. i sold the sdi to an un suspecting bloke off of ebay lol.. with the old bumper + all standard suspension parts from the tdi ;-)

loved pips red old one aswell on the bbs rc041's with red centres.. thinking about getting some for mine for next summer but with 8.5's at the back ;-)

  • Author

  • Author
