Having just come back home to mid sussex from dartmoor in my 6 month old 1.2 TSI 105BNP Roomster Scout when the car performed perfectly, we broke down today 2 miles from home. details as follows. I experienced a slight loss of power going up a hill then the traction control light came on together with a tyre warning light at the as I went over the summit I decided to slow down until I could find somewhere safe to pull over and found I had lost power on my brakes. fortunately I managed to stop on a verge, and called Skoda assist. they came out in about 30 minutes and found that the servo pipe had come off the engine, which apparently causes all sorts of problems, he fixed it in about 5 mins then took it for a test and now all seems to be OK.

I wonder if anyone else has had this problem, the technician said he has had similar evnts on an Audi 1.4 and a Golf 1.4 TSI engine.

No not had the problem but I have read mention of something similar, in that the push fit pipe fixing on the servo itself not being engaged properly resulting in a leak.

Anyway glad your all OK and back up and running.
