Hi I am new on here, I have a 2002 Octavia VRS, I recentley had the screen replaced, but the mirror mounting is too high on the screen, the windscreen fitter said there was only one screen, Has anybody else had this problem?

There is only one screen, but I bet the one they fitted is one of their own brands. Quiet often these are better quality than the original, but sometimes there are little quirks.

The screen is made by Pilkingtons.it has the mirror mount about 25mm higher up the screen, and the centre and the drivers sunvisor cover part of the mirror.

When looking from the outside, the centre of the mounting disc should be 140mm from the edge of the glass
