Plastidip......any reviews?

Featured Replies

Hi all, i was wanting to hear from anyone that has used plastidip spray, i am wanting to blacken my chrome grill on the fabia vrs. Think id need a primer too?

Thanks

I have used it on my spoiler and grille. Still looks good after a couple of months :)

No need for primer. Just clean the grille and spray on.

Just make sure that you spray it in several light coats, and don't go mad trying to get it done in one coat.

Used it on my grill and on my fog surrounds and still as good as the day I sprayed them a year ago. Check my project for pics but it's easy to use and gives an excellent finish. As said use many light coats to get a good finish.

excellent chaps, cheers for the advice. Dont fancy wrapping, if its anything like my christmas presents it'll look terrible. Thought the site said to use a primer for non porous surfaces, but if yours has stayed on ill go for that option. cheers

youtube for advise on how to use it. Really straight forward but prep on all spraying jobs is key. Area needs to be clean and free of any oils/dirst etc for it to stick.

Can be used on so many different car parts.........if you like that sort of thing ;)
