Bumble Bee strike

Featured Replies

When i was a child I ran down a steep hill at the same time a bee was flying up at a good speed, said be flew right up my nostril and the tweezers had to come out of the first aid kit for the following lengthy process of removal, not a pleasant experience. What are the odds of that? unbeelievable !

That could go onto that TV programe, 'When Animals misbeehave.' :giggle:

Blimey you must have an unbeelievably large hooter!

Time to beehive I think

I suppose it all goes to prove that Yorkshire bees are hard! :notme:

Too right - the rest are all wannabees ;)

TP is surely right that it actually was a bee, but it isn't now -

It's a has-been

"Half a bee must, ipso facto, half not be"!

(Eric the half a bee, Monty Python)

"To Bee or not to Bee that is the question, whether 'tis Nobler in the mind to suffer the stings and dents of outrageous collision.

Or to take arms against a hive of bees, and by opposing, end them to die, to sleep no more"........ William Shakesbee

In Norfolk we have the bishy barnybee ... which just to confooz you all is actual local dialect for a ladybird.

Oh no! I hope we haven't Been stitched up by this tale of squishy bee that can put dents in steel, and now an amazing self healing Yeti. Maybee it's a new cure for dented bodywork, throw a bee at it, and the dent will disappear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shouldn't this be in the "detailing" section?

Fred

Beetailing ? ;)

At a loss to explain it myself.

As stated, there was a very, very slight indentation when I pulled up; checked because of the loud thump made by the thing against the roof but two days later can I now find that mark, then no.

Strangest thing ever.

Surely if the yeti was doing 70 mph and the bee was doing say 10mph the impact speed would be 80mph.

Can that type do 10MPH, I thought they sort of bumbled along

Beetailing ? ;)

Shirley knot, he hit the front of the animal, so it must bee a bee heading!
