Wondering if anyone has an answer to this query.

Is it possible to upload MP3 tracks to the Columbus head unit via a SDHC card and store them in named folders, as opposed to a large list of individual tracks?

I tried this yesterday, by putting several tracks into a named folder on the sd card, then inserted that into Columbus, using media controls uploaded them into the HDD, however when I then checked the folder name didn't appear although all the tracks had uploaded fine as separate individual titles.

I wanted to have my music separate from the kids stuff, so I can easily find the folder, and then select the tracks from that source.

Any ideas anyone?

Create folder structure on SD card with MP3 files in appropriate folders.

Place SD card into columbus and press media if the music does not start playing.

Press Media, and then the arrow in the top right to go up several levels till you see DVD, HDD, SD Card in a vertical menu (not along the top).

Next to SD card select the small square, then select Copy.

Sit back and wait.

Or select each folder on the SD card one by one, and copy that (not the music tracks within). Copying individual files will simply place them at the root of the HDD as a long list.
