VRS (diesel) fast road - what's the one to go for?

I've got Koni FSD's and Eibach -25mm springs. Quite a bit sportier than standard and no less comfortable.

I suppose it would be easier to say what I'm after

My VRS has Eibach springs fitted to OE dampers. It crashes on the bigger bumps, which is I presume from the damper having less travel due to the lowering, and being closer to the bump stops.

There is also quite alot of bounce. Again this can only I presume be from the dampers being underdamped...?

I'm not a fan of lowering but want performance, especially over the rough

Crashing could be reduced if shorter bumpstops are fitted.

Either modify existing or get some cupra ones.

The eibach springs and bilstein shocks setup on my old

MX5 was pretty bloody good.

I can't really comment that much as I've only had them for 500 miles.

I had to do an evasive manoeuvre earlier when overtaking and another car pulled out right In front of me. It handled it pretty well. It's just more settled I'd say. But it can still become unsettled by uneven corners.

It just feels 'better'!

As above, I got the shorter bump stops too.

No idea personally if they're any good but Weitec normally get things more right than wrong by rep.

Depending on budget I'd say the Bilstein/Eibach B12 kit is the best all round for fast road use.
