It starts with what ever map was activated last time. Same goes if you disconnect the battery, you still stay on the same map

ah that's all cool then, so unless you want to change it you do absolutely nothing different than you would starting up any old vrs, sounds like a good map but just a shame there so far away from me

just checked, awesome gti in Manchester do these :)

lol, yeh I'd definitely get the oil problem sorted, and make sure you see how it goes for a few weeks in case if it comes back

Good figures, thats a serious increase in boost to to increase the peak torque by almost 50%.

Thats not a large increase in boost at all tbh. Stage 1 only increase boost by around 0.3-0.4Bar(4-5PSI), stock cars run around 1 bar boost gauge pressure. Stage 1 is typically around 1.4Bar.The maximum the stock turbo can manage is 1.6bar before it it no longer can match requested

mmm ok , love to see the boost logs then, increases in peak torque is almost alwaysmainly linked to boost , if .3 bar adds 70ft lbs and almost 50% I'd be very surprised but wouldnt 3200rpm be more supercharger than turbo boost ??

Boost is normally linked to torque, however so is ignition advance and many other elements of the tuning.I have boost graphs from my own car when i was running Shark and Jabbasport saftware. I wont be showing any of my current logs with my stage 3 map as its still in development, but im running upto 1.8 Bar of boost on this turbo, and torque is becoming an issue.Std Blue = Actual Boost. Red = Specified(requested) Boost

Peak at 1.21Bar(17.5psi) @ 1600rpm. 1Bar(14psi) from 2700-5300rpm dropping to 0.62Bar(9PSI) at the redline.

Shark Stage 2 Blue = Actual boost. Orange = Specified(requested) boost

Peak at 1.65Bar(24psi)@ 2700rpm to 1.5Bar @4520rpm before dropping to 0.96Bar(14psi) at the redline.

Jabba Custom Blue = Actual boost. Orange = Specified(requested) boost

Peak at 1.4Bar(20psi)@2310rpm. Dropping gradually to 1 Bar at the redline.

It's a massive increase in torque and it can be told easily lol.

At 3200rpm the boost is provided by both but the supercharger will be disconnecting very soon 3500rpm.

Also the supercharger only boosts if needed, on the dyno obviously it would be engaged but if driving normally the supercharger doesn't need to come in and can stay disconnected until you boot it or until the turbo comes in i.e after 3500 it's turbo only
