Skoda Assist with Citigo

Featured Replies

I've ordered a Citigo and believe it comes with Skoda assist, that's recovery with the RAC.

What level of cover do I get with this?

I'm currently with Greenflag and have their comprehensive cover, that's everything except euro cover.

Would Skoda assist let you add another, none Skoda to the policy, has anyone done it?

Mick

Skoda assist is the full mccoy including full coverage across the EU. I dont think you can add another car to the cover.

The RAC cover that comes with the car is comprehensive and covers 'at home' and 'recovery' and 'onward travel assistance' and, if I recall correctly, lasts for 3 years. I used it once (due to my own "user error") and they couldn't have been more helpful. Very impressed.

Not sure what you would want to add to the existing cover, but the best way to find out for sure would be to ring them and ask them as it's a fairly unusual request. Tel. 0800 526625

Yep what I am saying is.....my current Greenflag cover runs out next weekend and that covers two cars.

I've this very week sold one car and waiting for the Citigo to arrive (that's will be Sept) so don't actually need breakdown cover on both cars now as the Citigo comes already covered.

Nice to know the Citigo will be covered with a fully comprehesive breakdown. I've just got a quote for the other car with RAC £39 or I may even go with Auto-aid for even less but you pay up front and claim back the costs.

Mick

Cover for £39 with the RAC is not worth much to you if you travel any distance from home and would like to get the car, yourself & passengers home.

The full biz or at least cover for Yourself where you can be a driver or passenger in 'any vehicle' and get that vehicle and its passengers home is just a wonderful thing.

I use my Tesco Clubcard Vouchers tripled to buy that cover annually, even tho i already have other Breakdown cover and assists. (used to get 4 times your points value using the Clubcard points.)

Yeah I've got a few Tesco vouchers left from when we shopped there but not enough for the top cover of RAC.

Sainsburys for us now.....there's a thought ......Nectar points, have build up quite a few, so will have a peek at those.

I've been with AutoAid since the early eighties and only have AA or RAC as and when it comes with a new car. Swear by Auto Aid...for the money it can't be beaten.
