Hi,

Something which has annoyed me since owning the car is the damn petrol cap, you take it off, then it has to dangle..

Keeps rubbing and scratching my paint..

Where do you guys put yours? Way of wedging it anywhere? Or hanging it?

Fed up of holding it when filling the tank.

Does it? Never noticed that, will investigate when home.

yeh, if you look on the inside of your petrol cap flap (sounds wrong) you'll see two little raised lines and then underneath the cap itself youll notice a few little notches cut out, these notches will fit with the centre piece between the two little raised lines. it was on my golf when i had that too. saves any scratch marks and prevents you from driving off and leaving it

I just sit mine on the top of the flap with the notches

How many read it . Many'sthe time I see VAG owners with a dangling fuel cap , and those I mentioned it too have had the same arrangement .Then again, pretty certain subject has been mentioned before, as that's where I saw it .

BTW - works well on petrol & diesel vehicles,unlike the fuel
