Really recommend the FK Coilovers from DP at £199 best thing on the market at the min, Really dont know why anyone would go for springs while the FKs are so cheap

From this (standard)

Looks awesome mate! We fitted FKs to mine on Tuesday night and I love them!

What's the ride like? How low have you gone? Still can't decide to go for springs or the fks. Especially with our roads!

I was expecting it to be hard and nasty but its actually a pretty good ride, 1st thing I done was tried out our bumpy back roads and its ok, yeah its hard and a little more bumpy but the cornering on the normal roads make up for that. I dont know how long may be 50mm I let my local garage sort all that out as they deal with this sort of stuff on their rally car. I've had spax, apex, koni on past cars and these win hand down

Ah yeah, doesn't look too low. I want to be able to use the car everyday without the fear having no fillings or losing my sump! Was just going to go for eibach pros on standard dampers. Might consider the fks instead.

I went round town to and miles of room away from speed humps. still a bit of distance from the actual floor

I've got 3 turns left on the front of mine and there's still loads of room for speed bumps and my steep drive. I ran JOMs on my Focus and had problems getting up my drive with 7 turns left on the front :)

The ride is a little bit more crashy than standard but it's not bad at all ad more than makes up for it in handling :)

Ah right they don't sound too bad then. Wanted something that was going to go bit lower than springs but didn't want to jeopardise ride quality too much as it get used everyday. Sounds like I'll be ok with fks then :)

Anybody got a comparison between the eibach pros and the fks?

Thanks

Sorry hijacking also :)

Looks lovely mate.

how low u gone?

I fitted FK coilovers on my Punto a few years ago, they were righ down 110mm and the thing was peeling the Tarmac. The ride was a lot stiffer but not terrible or crashy. I'd never go that low again as it was a nightmare to get in an out my driveway and speed bumps were a no-no.

I think I'm going to get coils for the vRS, was looking at eibachs or bilsteins as I want adjustable damping this time round. For £199 you can't go wrong with FKs though.
