Petrol Prices

Very accurate

I get a regular update by eMail

I also get Emailed daily from the Site, it is very good.

It can be a day or 2 wrong for less busy towns and Filling station, because members need to do the update.

2 pence out at my local station just now and the other station has not been updated since it changed brands, so does not show.

As above - accurate and very useful

Most times it's up to date.

I get two updates a week, 9/10 accurate, they quote normal and premium diesel for me and petrol for SWMBO. When it is wrong it is usually Tesco as they always put their prices up when they do money off vouchers.

Use the site all the time, and find it very accurate.

Echo above. Good site ate usually accurate. IIRC the site also says howbold the data is as well as the price so you can take that into accountbin you're decision making.

Yes accurate but since everyone charges the same feckin price apart from the rurals charging 5p extra there isn't a lot of point in using it any more.

Just in case anyone doesn't know, Tesco are currently doing 10p off a Litre vouchers and you can use more than one voucher, up to a maximum of 50p off a Litre!

I hope for our sake that site is accurate.

It's all good ....been using it for years and saved a fortune...anything up to 12p difference in Swindon

It is rather simple to check yourself if accurate where you buy your fuel.

Look at the site, remember the prices shown,

and when you drive passed the Filling station or buy fuel do the prices tally.

It has not been correct for 5 days now at my local station.

Unleaded & Super Unleaded is 1 pence more expensive to buy than the price shown on the site.

But then the site shows the last update, date.

Generally good enough.

Shows how much cheaper the fuel can be bought at many locations only 15 miles away.

Good at letting you see that Aberdeen has some of the cheapest Fuel prices in Britain.

South Ayrshire lower than Perthshire.

Thats good enough to know surely if you are travelling and want to fill up at the lowest price on the journey,

and maybe avoid filling up in other areas.

On that note, I see prices are up up up again.

It's obviously fixed as they always do it at the same time and always take it in turns to be the one to do it that half day later.

You can actually predict it now with the local 4 around work.

I think there ought to be a competition commission enquiry into fuel supply. Yes you can blame the government for a chunk of it, but at the same time, every time you think it's getting better, the fuel companies put it up up up.

If they can absorb 50p per litre, they're obviously making a good amount on the fuel and in the store.

To me that says I should shop elsewhere as they're ripping me off when I don't spend enough.

Diesel is currently hovering around the equivalent of £1.10/litre in areas of the Netherlands! Makes a nice changed from the extortionate UK! Though it's generally extortionate anyway! Something more needs to be done.

Regarding PetrolPrices - very good. I use it regularly!
