Quick pic of how the pipes will run, basically the same route as a lcr tt

0508E100-DE43-4E53-B2C7-A5DED2331BA2-3433-000004E7A7FD612E.jpg

Just need to find someone who can weld all the pipes together as I want them with as less joins as possible!

I'll speak to my qualified welder mate, see if he can tig them..

Just a quick thought, which can be ignored if I have missed something during the post! I think it's possible to get the upgraded k04 with K03 flanges from the US pretty cheap, saves changing much on the car too. For quick reference just take a look at eBay.com rather than the UK site and type in k03 upgrade. The car looks great too, I've also got a black magic 53' VRS and have exactly the same ideas as far as wheels/grill etc goes.

Made a start on stripping the front end this evening

B248636B-7CE4-42BA-ACA2-C2F9FB2E81F6-1294-000001C46962C9F0.jpg

Also had my tt map sensor pipe come today just waiting on the brake servo vac hose

today i started to fit the intercooler so the car went from this

D609228E-45D2-4737-9FD9-F93A626DADCD-2123-0000039A58CFD03D.jpg

to this

97A3D98E-4425-41B2-9488-3B2D61B3B8AA-2123-0000039A7492861A.jpg

as it is having a bam inlet manifold i took a easy route and bought a tt map pipe which bolts on the chassis and goes round the battery tray

FD2148EE-5427-4ACF-AB13-B92AF0DBFDC4-2123-0000039A6E9CBB57.jpg

also got the tt rubber pipe from this pipe to the throttle body for ease of fitting

C7BFD6D4-B026-4C88-88ED-A9A9FF511625-2123-0000039A80E4815A.jpg

which meant i use a 90' metal bend and 1 90' silicone bend to fit from the intercooler to the map pipe

775EC818-A872-42AE-910C-957B4F9ED807-2123-0000039A6076E3F8.jpg

942790ED-4B7B-4BCA-83B7-04A08CB91AFC-2123-0000039A6695C08B.jpg

then i turned to the other side and used a 90' bend and a 45' bend cut so the fit from the fmic to the pancake pipe

BCB15FB0-5E54-40CC-8054-253333ED1834-2123-0000039A7A9F7C10.jpg

although i did say i would run the pipe the lcr route this is a quicker and cheaper way of getting the cooler on the car it aslo means i can us a combo of lcr and vrs silicone pipes from creation motorsport without any real hassle.

just waiting now for my manifold gasket to arrive from tps (tue) then i can start changing the manifold over although time is dictating that it may not happen until next sat now.
