This is the reason it needs better brakes!! Didn't take long for them to go like that

Oh no ur octy at risk too now is it :(

Them black diamond pads must be shocking! Even when my Mondeo had 300mm's and standard calipers and pads,I never had them on fire, and thats a much heavier car!

omly through lack of use! I find it hard to justify having something sit there not being used

I get those thoughts mate :(

steve have you fitted the spacers yet ?? bowders fitted the same ones and have failed !!! so please remove until i spoken to them about the issue

so to be a pain i dont want anyone getting hurt etc etc

all be it minimal chance i dont want to sell or supply inferior products

Is that the wheel spacers?

yes billy the 8mm spacers only a few weeks old !!!

i will call them tomoz and discuss !!! 1 failure is 1 to many in my book !!!

the other side has completly gone !!!

Gulp..

What. I got their 5mm ones and had no trouble other than the wobble.

Cant really see that but whats wrong?

Was he using longer bolts or still the std ones? How did he find out?

Hope they sort it. Least its not one of your items tho.

Clive I never had wheel spacers mate as this is the very reason why I hate them!! I've seen this across loads of forums over the years

this is why i think the way forward is bolt on 20mm beasties :)

Planning 20s front n rear on my spiders... And swapping my 20mm pcd adaptors on the rear to 25mm when my shims are on and beam adjusted :)

Tee hee hee

arh crap if it wasnt you steve who was it lol

billy standard bolts and he noticed as he heard a crack and had bad wheel wobble !!!

need to have a chat with then as they have sold loads so hoping it was an isolated issue but for the time being i would rather be safe than sorry from both a personal point and a buisness point !!

That's a CM one isn't it ?

so has the wheel come off then and the disk is on the floor?

take it your on about the shiny ring? or has the spigot broken too?

... or has the spigot broken too?

There is no spiggot there, that's a one piece design (apologies if I've not understood your post ;) )

Where that crack is, is the thinnest part of metal on the spacer (its machined out inside).

I did notice that before putting mine on.

I assumed that that part wouldn't have been great load, more design to aid fitment, with wheel bolts taking the load

Looks like that's not the case

I don't have wobbly wheels (yet) ...
