Anyone know how to remove the centre vents unit so i can tighten something up to stop my rattle. The rattle is over the far left side but if i push hard in centre it stops it. might try and use self tappers to tighten dash onto bulk head if cant find anything.

Nice and easy...

Just need a few trim tools (or a knife or similar)

First get the bottom out...

Then the top...

Then just unclip true hazard button and pull away!

Hmmm I can hear a rattle which appears to come from these vents, when the fans are on. Not sure how to fix it.

i used an old card. but was quite fiddly

Carefully with this, I did it and one or two of the metal clips fell off and fell down to some impossible place.

cheers guys, this will be my weekend fun. Rattle is putting my head away.

Forget it i have the same rattle only does it at 1500 rpm and comes from under glove box had it out checked all bolts and fixings under glove box and i mean everything still does it just live with it now try not to leave revs at 1500 for too long

If you want to go really mad to try cure a rattle, dismantle EVERYTHING, and put foam tape between any joins etc.
