Cheapest place for service items.... oil etc

Featured Replies

I hear alot about TPS but i see they are for trades, anywhere like this good for buying your service parts?

I was using euro carparts, but it seems there is cheaper about, where do you use?

I used Euro Car Parts last time. With the offer code I got oil and filter for £23. Can't moan at that.

Phil

Some branches of TPS sell directly to the public. My local branch even gives me a trade discount, without me having to ask ;-) Otherwise use the 25% Briskoda discount, be aware there is a minimum spend of about £20 to get that discount though.

Believe it or not, Skoda main dealers are competitive on service parts.

I paid £36 for 5L Quantum Platinum oil, air filter, oil filter, sump plug and washer.

Yep, that's good value!!

That's actually pretty good.

Will give them a go next time.

Sere Motors is a dealer in N Ireland that will beat TPS for price (since you can't get a big discount from TPS as you're not trade)

Halfords have a great deal on Castrol at the moment. 4l magnatec for 17 notes.

Just bought some oil and a filter (and a sump plug) from my local TPS. £24 inc VAT...

Great! when you need 4.2 Litres for an oil change though.

Damn they charge me more than that just for the oil and filter. That trade price ?

Nope, I just phoned up and asked for their best price for all the bits.

Have used Sere before. Cheap as chips and very helpful. Sourced all the bits I needed for my auto dimming mirror install and shaved a few quid off local dealer prices. Also bought a new OEM dog bone mount and saved about £12 on local dealers price.

Sweet :)
