I was dropping my son off at my mum and dads this morning, and they live down a country lane, so I usually pull up outside blocking the road, drop the boy off and shoot off to work. So I did that, but just as I was getting in the car, my dads next door neighbour pulls up behind in his wife's ML55 AMG. He was messing about piping the horn and revving flashing his lights etc - v.funny I thought as a nailed it down the lane. That caught him out, but he gathered what I was up to. So we had a little go and I did very well indeed, there wasn't a road long enough for the AMG to really stretch his legs, and it couldn't corner like my car and I managed to pass a slower car while keeping the speed on, but he backed down [thank god]

Bloody quick for AWD though, but dangerous at the same time - lol

The ML55 AMG is a lovely car. You really do feel like the Daddy in it...

I drove my sister-in-laws bosses Merc (tenuous link!) and it just had acres and acres of power. No decrease in acceleration till 120 at least... Handles like a Barge though. A taught barge, but a barge all the same...

indeed a nice car shame about the tw*t in one this morning that blocked Kew bridge well done you stupid muppet! Oh and it was a woman driver :P
