New Blackline

Featured Replies

Thinking about ordering a new blackline with a DSG box

Should I get the Petrol or Diesel version?

What would you buy?

Simple answer to this one; Blackline is Diesel only!

And you better not think for too long or all 500 will be gone!

Given that they are available in hatch, estate, manual and dsg, if you want a dsg hatch there are only likely to be about 125 of that model in 3 different colours, so about 42 of each colour (assuming the split is even, which is very unlikely)

Oh did not realise that, Thanks for pointing it out.

If you could get a petrol version, would you buy it, or the diesel?

Petrol every time. It's faster. Simples.

I'd have bought a Diesel one, regardless. I'm a Diesel kinda chap.

Cheaper on tax, cheaper on fuel, better residuals and arguably better to drive in most everyday circumstances; although i accept that Petrol will be faster in most situations.

+1 here just took delivery a few days ago of a diesel DSG vRS and I must say no complaints from me :) but agree petrol will be faster

One without those g*d awful black wheels....wonder if you can order something else instead ?

They would like nice on yours Paul

Funny enough it's the black wheels I don't like as well ...if it had white or normal silver I would have bought one

I think they're still worth buying for all the extras, even if you don't like the black wheels; there are plenty of guys on here that would snap your hand off if you offered a swap...

I would be up for swap. Had my Vrs just over 3weeks...did 700miles on them.

Ain't going anywhere near mine thanks :giggle:
