They won't fit as the MkII is 5 x 112 !!

Also, I think the new owner would be less than pleased if you abducted it and kept it in your garage :bandit:

What did it sell for out of interest? As you may know, my car is almost identical in many ways.

The same price that I bought it from Dave for which is £6800, it was a bargain when i bought it and just as much of a bargain now.

If advertised properly on ebay, pistonheads and the like I think £7.5k would be easily achievable tbh.

Mine are 5x112 et50s me ol' matey ;)

Just wearing 20mm bolt on h&r pcd adaptors :)

I got them so they'd fit my mk5 R32 i want :)

And the new owner is miles away :D

Tehe

Anyway...... Whos gna own up to pinching my new car :D

If its a briskie step forward :)

So i can dislike you lol

Just kidding, the new owner has a lully and bonkers motor :)

And they should give it to me tehe

Thanks again to martin :)

A very top guy and very friendly geezer ;)

Very cool car bud , cheers :)

Well, whoever bought the car is one lucky Briskodian!!

I have not been on the forum due to mental work and family commitments but I was at Castle Coombe yesterday and was stunned to hear from a good buddy that the car was up for sale again. As crazy as this may sound, even a few novice sessions on the track confirmed what I had feared all along and the advice from friends that I ignored...after all the investment versus the selling price, I should have kept this car for weekend fun despite it still being a brilliant 'every day' car. I have just logged on to Briskoda with a mad thought about buying the car back again (after beg, borrow and stealing from every one I know lol ) !!!

Congratulations to whoever was wise enough to realise what a bargain of a performance car they just got.

Ps If whoever bought the car would like to 'fess up', I have something for you.....no, not a mugging to get the car back but a spare filter for the ITG intake which I have just found in the garage. I thought I gave this to Martin with the car. This may be handy as a spare while the other one is hanging up to dry after being cleaned in a bucket of petrol and then soapy water. This would be my gift for the cost of P&p only even although I kind of hate you at the moment ;)

Hi Dave, hope you're well.

Long story short, project now ends in March (was supposed to be september), but on secondment and job seconded from has been axed (over 1,000 culled) - so when project ends, no job.

Not disasterous I have many years service, but depends on how quickly I can get a new job.

Gutted to have sold, but was most sensible thing to do :(

Haven't profiteered, sold for same amount you sold to me for and has gone to a fellow briskodian (or will do when collected next Saturday)

He seems to want to keep a low profile and not post on the thread though ! ;)

Fair enough. I hope it all works out for you Martin....I have a feeling it will!

Thanks Dave, much appreciated.

Saw the new beastie at combe yesterday  , and saw you out on track, but didn't see you whilst wandering about!

looked like you were taking instruction on the track - best modification anyone can get!

Its Me!! (not been meaning to keep a low profile) just been real busy with work since the test drive!!

I'll take you up on that offer of a freebie if i may Dave? i'll happily pay the P+P

......and if it goes missing in the meantime i know where to look Lloyd...i may be miles away but i'll find YOU!!

Ive been praying for rain as Martin told me of his intention to take it to Santa Pod today...but the dance obviously didn't work, please tell me shes still in one piece Martin and the sale is still on?!

Not long now and she'll be making her way to sunny Suffolk!

DaZ

Jeez, I can't believe that I missed you (and the car) at Coombe. Wish I had known you were there!

I am a bit of a track day novice so was getting some excellent advice from one of Jim Mew's friends. Still got a lot to learn though!

No probs Daz - PM me with your address and I will get it in the post ;-)
