Vrs vs 2 Civic Type R's

Featured Replies

You are going to find oil consumtion problems with any engine that hasnt been run in properly.. stop pussy footin around and give it abit of stick once in a while.. dealers say not to give it stick for at least 5k but thats bull**** obviously dont go thrashin it round everywhere but at least once a week blow them cob-webs out. this allows the engine to shape properly

What I really want to know as I have heard from a mate's brother's uncle's boss's postman that in actual fact the 2ltr Fabia MK1 (rare #becauseracecar) is actually faster than a modified gt mustang....

And in turn then quicker than a vRS and Type R yo.

Anyone?

Edited by T. Spark

Not only faster but 60mpg!

As long as its not a straight line hero, I would buy a 2.0 Fabia if it was good round a corner, unlike American cars? Anyone got any experience?

the civic type r will have to stop and fill up eventually so the vrs will always get there quicker

So, who likes cake?

At the moment I'm quite partial to Mr Kipling's Bakewell slices

Humble pie for me

minced pork and prawn cakes for me

That's... unusual. But I like the sound of it, and would like to subscribe to your news letter!

Mr Kipling Bakewell tart for me. :)

Though quite like a French Fancie.

Would have been in trouble yo.

Fish fingers with mash and some greens then a solid helping of a brownies - dinner time for me now :).

What I learned that VAG had bad batch of 1.4 TSi motors manufactured in '09, new about it but did nothing and elected to wait for people to turn up and then change for a new motor-cheaper that way.

Might be a bit stale now. :(
